Повторюсь - проблема в том что в системе отсутствует USB.

Удалось пройти весь процесс компиляции прошивки OpenWRT, используя Debian запущенный из под Windows 7 на виртуальной машине от Oracle.
Пришлось сделать одно изменение в строке:

"apt-get install subversion build-essential libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev gawk flex quilt git-core mkisofs".

Вместо mkisofs надо вводить имя другого файла genisoimage.

Далее все прошло нормально.

Также пробую скомпилировать прошивку, используя Ubuntu. Пока не получается. Ubuntu также установлена на виртуальной машине. Правда процесс установки самой Ubuntu не такой простой как Debian. В Ubuntu необходимо принудительно делать обновление ядра гостевой машины. В противном случае есть проблемы с разрешением экрана.

Я специально не замерял, но где-то часа полтора. Интересно, что я все это делал на Debian 64 бита. Сегодня поставил Debian 32 и пока не смог откомпилировать. Получил ошибку, что недоступен сайт svn.nomi.cz.
Пробовал пинговать этот сайт - получается. Хотя имя его распознается и появляется его IP адрес. Сеть работает. Сайт www.mail.ru пингуется.
Сейчас хочу сохранить в архиве результат успешной компиляции и стартовать make clean на Debian 64.

Так вот докладываю результат компиляции на VM.

Ноутбук Toshiba Portege R835 (не самый новый). Процессор i5-2410M [email protected]. Windows 64 bit.

Виртуальная машина: Debian 64 bit, memory 1920 байт, два CPU.

Время ПОЛНОЙ (предварительно выполнена команда make clean) компиляции 16 минут. Перед компиляцией также была удалена директория BIN. Компиляция выполнялась командой
make -j3.

Так что вполне хороший результат.

Кто подскажет где посмотреть пример компилирования под C++. Под дебиан скрипт компилируется а под Openwrt нет.

У меня ноутбук Lenovo u-310 на не так все просто с UEFI
Прошивку пачить я не хочу так как он еще на гарантии
Поэтому для меня VM это выход
